The inspiration for my jounal quilt came from it being started on the last day of 2010, and reflecting on the past year. Although a brilliant year in many ways , it was also touched with great sadness as we lost a very young, vibrant and beautiful member of our family, who in turn left behind a young family of her own. Love, Light and Hope sustains us in these dark times and my little quilt tries to capture the colour and warmth that Hope brings.
